Aboriginal Hand Rock Art Paintings T-Shirts

Hand paintings are one of the very early messages and concepts that we can go back to from our most ancient ancestors, going back tens of thousands of years. These images found on rock walls around the world, in Americas, Australia, Africa, Asia, have been created in a variety of different ways.

They use the hand as a type of stencil, spraying paint onto the rock, with the hand blocking the paint, or application, leaving a hand like shape left of the rock to pass through the ages to this current day.

Whatever the method was (paint or charcoal), used to put the image onto the rock. The hand shape is the most well known and most common image used on rock art and wall paintings to this day.

It is often discussed what the purpose of these Hand Rock Art was. Weather it was some sort of signature. Weather there was a deeper mystical meaning behind it left from some 'Magician' or 'Shaman' from the tribe. A bit like its considered that a photo might take or capture a part of someone's soul. Weather they were embedding there soul into the rock itself. Or possibly touching the rock surface in order to acknowledge and therefore enter the spirit world?
