Aboriginal Art is a beautiful ancient and modern form of art, that predates European Settlement in Australia, many thousands of years, and post European, both styles having a unique appearance, and effect on the human spirit.

Aboriginal Australian Rock Art paintings have been gaining significant international recognition over the years, and covers diverse mediums that fall outside most other cultures mediums, including mediums such as leaves, wood carving, rock carving, sculpture, sand-paintings and aboriginal clothing.

The importance of this art to the aboriginal people is increadibly important, and can be sometimes hard for the non-aboriginal australians to understand.

Some aboriginal communities consider their art more than just beautiful expressions of the dreamtime and colour displays. For example, a rock art painting of the rainbow serpent is not just a picture of a 'Rainbow Serpent', it is a manifestation of the Serpent, the spirit of the serpent is in the painting, and to quote "Will come out and devour you if you behave inappropriately towards the painting."

George Winston - The Music Of The Doors

Джордж Уинстон — американский пианист., композитор, родился в 1949 г. в Мичигане, а вырос в Монтана и Миссисиппи. Выпускник Стетсонского Университета, сейчас живёт в Сан-Франциско, штат Калифорния. С детства Джордж Уинстон увлекался музыкой популярных блюзовых, джазовых и рок-исполнителей.
Начал он играть на пианино в 1967 г. после окончания школы Свой первый сольный альбом, который назывался "Ballads & Blues 1972", записал еще в 1972 г. Но стал известным Уинстон благодаря своей серии "Времен года". Первый альбом из этой серии, называвшийся "Autumn" (“Осень”), был записан в 1980 г. Он положил начало "природной" серии альбомов, сыгранных в стиле, как называл сам пианист,"сельский фолк". Альбом "Autumn" имел колоссальный успех, разойдясь по Америке тиражом более миллиона экземпляров, что для подобной глубокой музыки — результат поистине впечатляющий. Через два года после первого альбома увидели свет два новых альбома — "Winter Into Spring" (“Зима, наступающая весной”) и "December" (“Декабрь”).
